THE 1776 PRAYER PROJECT

Weekly Prayer Focus

“Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:3

Father,
We have sinned against you. As your children, we bow our hearts and our wills to You. We confess that we do not honor You first. We have neglected to live by your precepts. Often, we are more invested in ourselves, rather than needs of others. We live in ways that subvert Your holiness and ignore Your Truth. Have mercy on us, Father, and forgive. Turn our hearts ever closer to see Your face and to live in the reality of whoYou are.
Amen

Weekly Prayer Focus #2

“The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the
world.” John 1:29.

We praise You, Jesus, for redeeming us from sin’s bondage and making a way for us to live in deep communion with
You. May the freedom, peace and joy that a life lived as forgiven children of God become infectious to all those
around us. Give us courage to share, to reach out to our communities with compassion and service to others.
Change us. Open hearts to see You. Heal our Land.
All to Your praise and glory, Amen.

Weekly Prayer Focus

“All great change in America begins at the dinner table.” Ronald Reagan

Father,
May Your name be honored in our families. May our children see and experience the faith of their parents and
grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. May they know You personally with a wholehearted faith of their own.
May our childrens’ children walk with God until the day of your Return.
For Your Glory, Amen

Weekly Prayer Focus

“But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have eaten the fruit of deception, because you have depended on your own strength and on your many warriors…” Hosea 10:13

Lord God,
We have departed from Your Word. Forgive us. We have ceased to seek Your Righteousness. Have mercy on us. We have forgotten the Goodness and Favor You showed us in the founding of this nation. Return our hearts to Faithfulness. We have relied on our strength alone. Give us discernment. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Weekly Prayer Focus

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelation 22:13

Jesus,
We offer our hearts in Praise to You today. For no matter what surrounds us, what our eyes see or our ears hear, we know that You reign Supreme over all things. Comfort us, Lord. Remind us of Your Goodness. Teach us to walk faithfully through each day, experiencing You and sharing Your Love to those around us.
For Your Glory Alone, Amen

Weekly Prayer Focus

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4

Almighty God,
Hear the intercessions of your people for our nation and our world. May your Holy Spirit’s Presence increase, opening eyes and hearts to the Truth of Your Love and Faithfulness. Give us discernment to pray effectively and with faithful, courageous hearts to persevere in Your calling. We thank and praise You, Father, for the battle that is already won.
Amen

Weekly Prayer Focus

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12

Father,
When our hearts cry out with sadness as ungodliness pervades our culture, be our Hope. When we are afflicted, discouraged and weary, may Your Presence be a new reservoir of trust in Your Goodness and Your Plan. When we come to an end of ourselves, remind us to pray with faithful hearts to our God “who is and who was and who is to come.” (Rev. 1:8)

Amen and Amen!

Weekly Prayer Focus

Lord,
We call upon Your name, Jehovah Rapha, the LORD our healer, to bring healing
upon our land. We are in desperate need of Your intervention in our government, our schools
and even our churches.

Position faithful men and women who will uphold scriptural tenets in the halls of Washington
and the chambers of every state and local bodies of government.
Protect Christian teachers as they seek to honor You in their classrooms and in their
relationships with their students.
Continue to raise up pastors who faithfully teach Your Word to hungry communities and train
a groundswell of followers that will intercede and interface with those around them. All for Your
Honor and Glory, Amen

Almighty God, El Shaddai, bring Your forces to bear upon our country and world. Protect the
innocent and punish the guilty. You are El Roi, the God who sees our pain and heartache, who
will never leave or forsake His children.

We praise You for what You have done, what You are doing and what You will do, all for our
good and to bring honor and praise to Your Name.

Amen and Amen!

Weekly Prayer Focus

“Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the
earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” Psalm 46 10-11

Father,

We lift our hearts in praise for You are our God and we are your children! Give us courage to
cease striving and to abide in the knowledge that You are sovereign over all things in heaven
and earth. Be exalted, O God, in our hearts, our thoughts and in all things in heaven and on
earth.

Amen

Vance Havner writes, “Revival is the church falling in love with Jesus Christ all over again.” May
this be the song of our hearts today.

“We fall down
We lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of
Mercy and Love
At the feet of Jesus
And we cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
Is the Lamb”

Chris Tomlin, lyrics and music, “We Fall Down”

About Us

The 1776 Prayer Project is a non-political grassroots effort of prayer to mobilize unified prayer for America. We are looking for a group of people who love God and love America who will consistently pray for our nation. Be a part of the first 1776 people who will publicly commit to praying for America.

Our Goal & Vision

At The 1776 Prayer Project, our mission is to develop an ever-growing group of “patriot prayer partners” to earnestly pray for revival across our land.

We endeavor to enlist our first group of 1776 people to take time to pray. This involves taking a few moments out of your busy schedule to specifically pray for America on a regular basis.
